During the sixties, racing enthusiasts built race cars to compete with the Shelby AC Cobra.  One version of this car was to 'shoehorn' a large Corvette engine into the popular British Austin Healey MK II 3000.  This car had two Carter four-barrel carburetors, removable Hooker Headers and 'cheater slicks'.
